History
Registered as a private limited company, our company was established in June 1988 and was then called NJR Mechanical Services Limited, a part of the NJR Group of Companies.
Moved into our warehouse and office premises in Ilford in 1988.
CORGI registration was awarded to the company in 1988. Registration No. 5035.
Appointed as approved installers and service agents for Transco, Calor Gas, Shell Gas, Pakaway, Benson, Schwank UK, Perrymatic, Jetaire, Air Care, Ambi Rad, NordAir, Powrmatic, Robur, Stanley, Combat and other leading heater and boiler manufacturers.
Expanded into the air conditioning market and become importers, agents and distributors for leading mobile, portable and fixed air conditioning units, products and services.
Achieved "Blue Diamond - best installer" award in 1990 and again in 1991.
Introduced engineering training schemes for school leavers and young people in 1992 and we have since trained all our own engineers with more currently under going training.
Quality Assurance programmes to BS 5750 introduced in 1993.
Quality Assurance certification to ISO 9002 was awarded by ISOQAR (UKAS Accredited) in 1996 and renewed in 2001.
Company rebranded and name changed to Heventech Mechanical Services Limited when the company was aquired from the retiring directors of the NJR Group in 1998.
Brian Almond promoted and appointed as Company Secretary and Director in 1998.
Achieved Quality Assurance certification to the new ISO 9001:2000 standard in 2003.
Quality Assurance certification renewed by ISOQAR in 2005.
Claire Wilkinson promoted and appointed as Service & Operations Director in 2006.
Implemented staff training to OFTEC standards in 2007.
Resigned from the ISOQAR Quality Assurance certification scheme for 2008.
Staff successfully achieved certification to OFTEC qualification standards in preparation for OFTEC registration in 2007.
OFTEC registration was awarded to our company in 2008. Registration no. C9071.
Our company proudly celebrates it's 20th anniversary in 2008.
On going training of all site operatives and staff to recognised standards and certification achieved to comply with the latest and relevant Health & Safety legislation for our trade and business activities including IPAF and WAHR.
On going product training courses to keep our staff up to date with newly introduced technology and product development.

Our specialist heating, air conditioning and associated (HVAC) services are available regionally to London, the Home Counties and the South East of England.
We supply our range of quality mobile heaters, portable mobile air conditioner units & indoor air treatment products nationwide to the whole of the UK & Ireland.

Our specialist team of field operatives and friendly office staff are fully experienced and are trained to very high standards of workmanship, health & safety, and customer care.
We are an OFTEC and CORGI registered company. All our engineers are fully trained to the highest CITB / ACS standards and safety in Natural Gas, LPG (propane) Gas and Oil Firing for the relevant "industrial and commercial" gas and oil firing catagories.
Importantly, "HEVENTECH for Quality & Reliabilty", means that all our existing and prospective customers buy with confidence and piece of mind.
Our wide ranging industrial and commercial client base includes blue chip companies, small companies and organisations, local and public authorities alike. We are approved service agents and preferred installers for leading heating & air conditioning equipment and appliance manufacturers and suppliers.
